I just tried to type a reply on the blog, and didn't notice that my saved name, email and website information that is usually stored there had disappered; when I pressed the button to post it, it just failed with an error message that the data was missing, and when I hit the 'back' button, the post was not in the box.

As we are obviously stuck with the blog rather than going back to the forums, is it possible to change that so when this happens, a warning message comes up so you can enter that information, carrying forward your post contents, so that you don't lose things?

I know I can copy my post to clipboard before posting... but that's a rather unsatisfactory solution to a problem that in all reality shouldn't exist in the first place.

I haven't come up with a reproducible way to do this but I've seen this in general on the Internet before. This generally has to do with web browser cookies saving and isn't blog-specific (e.g. if cookies are lost you can be asked to relog into the website too), so please check those settings and make sure they're being kept.
