Loss of inventory items

With the last update I lost many files from my inventory, many people complained about the same.
My question is, it's been a week now, can we expect them to appear back in our new inventory or do we need to expect more loses with each upgrade?
Is there a way to stop the changes until the bugs are really fixed? with each upgrade residents find it more difficult to be in sl!

Mily, I went through a great many number of these cases myself. In a lot of them, it turned out to be the filters or other confusion over the new Inventory changes were hiding the items. They weren't actually gone. This isn't the only possibility, but yesterday, a batch of those inventory bugs were fixed with Second Life 1.10.3. In a number of instances, going to PREFERENCES > NETWORK tab > pressing CLEAR CACHE button worked.

If stuff really is gone after you've tried all that, please use HELP menu > REPORT BUG with the details, including the names of items lost, date and time you lost them, etc.

In addition to our own testing, we certainly appreciate knowing about anything you catch early--please do use Second Life Preview so you can be apprised of what's coming around the curve.
