Anti-Idle Scripts?

Okay, I have heard a lot of mixed answers from the people I have asked about this, and honestly I just wanted a official word.

Is using anti-idle scripts to stay logged in while using camping chairs against the TOS?

I have heard that it is against the TOS and I have heard that it isn't... Really, I cant tell myself because of all the mixed answers and opinions I get. I remember reading somewhere on the forum that the Idle timeout was going to be made disable-able(not a word, lol) in the preferences if people wanted to disable it or not. But I haven't seen anything else about that since awhile ago.

I know that land owners and such may have things against them if they supply camping chairs, but I assume if the land owner doesn't have a problem with them, no one else should... But before I even get one I want to know if they are okay to use.

So, I ask the almighty Lindens!

Is it okay to use anti-idle scripts to stay logged in while using camping chairs?

Update:

Okay, so what you are saying, is that as long as I use IN GAME tools to create the anti-idle effect, it isn't against the terms of service? So things such as anti-idle scripts where using the kill away animation forcing the AV back into active mode and such are allowed? I don't plan to exploit this or anything, I just have seen a few anti idle tools around and wanted to use one to rid myself of that evil away timeout. Also your saying that outside tools aren't against the rules either? Like for instance a auto mouse clicker? to say click a button every 10 minutes to keep you active?

What's against the ToS is detailed within. Sorry to sound circular, but that's how it works. :)

We can't give a specific assessment of this without knowing the specific anti-idle technique that's being used. For example, the "God mode hack" that's been going around uses our own system tools. If you're going to use an external product that has no detrimental effect on SL itself, we can't do anything about that. Nor can we do anything if you have a cat who plays with your computer mouse and keeps waking your avatar up (yes, I've seen it before). ;)

The bigger issue here is resource drain: many idle avatars in a region could be considered Disturbing the Peace in the Community Standards:

After all, if you're not going to be around, what's the point? It's kind of like being cruel to your avatar. :(

Plus, the social ramifications: there are much quicker, effective ways to make L$ while you are out and about and doing passionate, vivid things you enjoy in Second Life. Like purchasing via LindeX. Some things aren't "against the rules" per se but aren't the best usage of your First Life spent here either!
