A new thread is the only thing I can do

I am a relatively new resident, still finding my feet and at awe of all the things and opportunites that SL has to offer and looking forward to being part of the community.

After 13 hours at RL work looking forward to one of the few opportunities this week to log in...

Can't log in - (Seen Karen Linden's post)
Any URL / Link with secondlife.com in the name takes 2-3 mins to get too
Was going to reply to some posts, but apparently all I can do now is start a new thread - not reply...

Lindens - I am still looking forward to being part of the community and trying to spend more time to it, but this isn't giving a good impression, particularly to the UK residents like me - and worse for people in CET and further east who will have given up for the night.

Apologies if this is the wrong place to put this and the tone is wrong (13 hours at RL work - dealing with systems that are getting the better of me).

Sorry, Jon--from what I learned from earlier, there were slowdowns both inworld and on the website, including the SL Forums as you describe. Things should be better now, and thanks for being here with us. :)

You should be able to reply in the Discussion forums. The purpose of SL Answers is explained here.
