I don't know how many other people have been affected, but I have been constantly harrassed by someone with this device for the past few weeks. EVERY DAY I am being bombarded with notecards, IMs and textures sent from this device with NO way of knowing who is doing it. I'm also being bombarded by them when I'm off-line, which just makes no sense.
Please Linden Labs, remove this device from the game...or at least, make sure it doesn't work....

Charlie -- I'm behind on my weapons! While I haven't seen this in person, this sounds like abuse to me. You need to send an abuse report inworld, Help menu > Report Abuse, and then mute it.
How? View menu > Mute List and enter the name of the object (it will say the name in chat history, put it in exactly).
If you find you can't stop it via that, you can additionally use Preferences > IM tab > and uncheck "Send IM to Email". If this is still ongoing, please contact a Linden Liaison from Help menu > Live Help, a deeper investigation can be done, because it really sounds nasty and it should end.
