hi there , im doing a major scripting project that is very sensitive to per lsl instruction latency, and in perticular link messages and llshouts on negative channels, im undertaking a huge project that builds the foundations of a global SL inter object and AV communications system based on the internet itself .. i guess you could call this SL internet or interinternet... anyways .. its very important for me that someone answers these questions:

is there a bandwidth limit on linkmessages?

no matter how small, is there a delay for linkmessages?

is there a specific volume of linkmessages where linkmessage passing begins to slow down?

does this have an impact or negative effect on sim preformace, sim stability/regeon stability?

is there a bandwidth limit on llShout(); and llListen();?

is there a delay for shouts/listens?.

is there a specific volume of shout messages on negative channels that has impact on how others might use this function?

does a shouting ons listens on a mass scale have noticeable impact of sim preformance or sim stability?

does mass communications (30,000 shouts over distributed channels from and to edge to next sim) affect simulator stability, preformance, global network stability/ preformance?

how many scripts can you have in 1 object?

if these could be answered by a linden as soon as possible id be grateful :)

Hi Lyndell! History shows that practical testing has revealed the answers to some of these. I'd very much recommend seeing Cory Linden's post here, as well as diving into the linked threads with more background on this and related topics. SL Forums searches will help you find more answers, looks like some of what you seek may already be in the Linden Scripting Language wiki, and as for the rest, I'll inquire further. :)
