I know several times I've posted questions to live help over the last 3 weeks and only once did I receive an response, the person was unable to help me but at least the responded, but no questions since have even illicited a "I'm sorry we'll get to you as soon as we can". And this is even after I've been on for HOURS. Is Live help still available?

Hi Sandra, I am sorry to hear you didn't get help when you needed it. Have you looked at our Official Linden Blog for updates on our support status? Like:

Not only is Live Help in a difficult place right now because of a shortage of enthusiastic volunteers, but becasue of the growth of the world. As I've encountered many a time in recent weeks, I can only reply to so many emails and IMs in a day before I require the help of more good people!

But yes, Live Help still available, and our Live Helpers and Liaisons help as they can. If you don't get a reply, it's probably because they are helping many, many other people at that time. We're working to provide more quality support in the form of the Knowledge Base to give answers to many questions which we get asked.
