Combining Parcels

Good Morning,

Yesterday I purchased a small plot of land and added it to my other land.

Afterwards I seen the large parcel took on the characteristics of the newly purchased one, my traffic went to next to nothing, I lost my music, pictures of land, ban list, etc. etc.

My question is this...when combining land which side should you click first to drag the box to other parcel? I clicked my large parcel of land first and pulled it across a Linden road to grab the small parcel. I swear I thought I always had done it that way.

Is there a correct way of doing it, like pick the new land first, or pick existing plot first?

I would of thought the existing land you already had would take precedence over any new land no matter what side you clicked first :/

I asked in Concierge Group chat about it and had people saying one way and others saying the other. (Very nice helpful group I might add).

Thanks for responding :)

This is a good question, Clarrice! It's come up several times before for me. Whenever I hear it, I'm eager to try to reproduce what will make a larger parcel take on the properties of the smaller one when joined, but haven't come up with a reliable way thus far. I'd hate to say it's a "fluke" because there must be something, but personally, I'm used to dragging the selection from the bigger parcel first into the smaller one.

If you find out, let me know! I'm curious too and the answer would be a useful one to share. :)
