I have several questions I would like to raise
a) Being UK based I would not be at my sharpest at around midnight (GMT Time Zone) to attend the average Town Hall meeting at 2:30 Pacific Time. Would it be possible to arrange the odd meeting at a more suitable UK time, say 7/8pm evening time GMT
b) I would like to see LL have a robust TOS agreement that allowed the sale/trading of first life goods and services in SL together with the necessary tools to externally link to websites. Lets say Linden could be considered as a type of 3d EBay. Is this going to happen?
c) Alongside that I would also like to see the ability to pay for goods and services in real US dollars in game. Linden dollars are fine within reason for micro purchases but their acceptability is limited for larger purchases. This includes land (which I see as a type of computing power tool) For example it would be nice to be able to both buy and sell land in dollars, directly via click and pay, or perhaps via access to Auctions

We try to rotate the times of the meetings, and the next Town Hall with Philip will be held in the AM Pacific time. I hope that will be more convenient for those of you in the UK. (It would probably be around 7:30PM GMT).
For a long time we've wanted to expand our auction system to allow residents to post items, first on the website and ultimately within SL. I don't think this would necessitate a change to the terms of service, but we've assumed the currency and goods and services would all be SL related. One site, SL Boutique, has already experimented with selling RL goods. You might ask FlipperPA Peregrine how that experiment turned out, as I don't have details.
Our economist, Vasudha Linden, may feel that it would make sense to integrate US$ into the SL economy at some point. For now I don't see us doing that, however, apart from the exchange.
