"Failed to place object..."

This one's for the technical team. Often when I'm building, I go to rez something from my inventory, and I get this really annoying error as a blue popup in the lower right:

"Failed to place object at specified location. Please try again."

Often I end up trying 5-10 times before it works. What in the world does that mean? Why am I the one that has to keep trying? If the sim needs another go at things, why can't it keep trying until it makes a successful rez?

Maybe the error message could be changed to "Failed to place object at specified location for no obvious reason. Please try again until you're blue in the face."
