Account suspended for non-payment

I have a couple of questions.

MY RL gf has had her account suspended because her credit card maxed out.

QUESTION ONE: How long does she have before the account disappears ... she is a sl addict so she makes no sense right now if she knows that.

QUESTION TWO: If I pay for a gift certificate for her will it mean her account is unsuspended or will it take effect once her credit card has money on it.

This isn't the best place to ask about these but I know where is--your GF should contact our billing dept. by emailing [email=billing@secondlife.com]billing@secondlife.com[/email] or call Support. A suspended account isn't the same as a cancelled one so it doesn't sound like there's any danger of it disappearing--always good to act fast, tho--and I don't know whether a gift certificate would remedy it... interesting question! Billing would know best.
