Worm Hole Found: Please Explain

Teleporting issues continue to be a real problem that is effecting my business. Every day I get messages from customers that simply cannot reach my island. I have to wonder how many never send a message? And those that do finally arrive tell me they had been trying all day. I received a message from a customer yesterday that told me she thought my stores had been closed for the last week. Ugh.

Well, last night I discovered a worm hole. That's right, a worm hole: a way to get to my island even when direct teleports will not work. So last night, I spent my time directing customers to first teleport to Luminous Island, and then to Persenickety Island - this seems to work every time - when a direct teleport fails.

I would very much like to understand what is going on with teleports and what is being done to correct this situation. I purchased a private island not realizing that a significant percentage of my customers would be unable to reach me there. And I have talked to quite a few other island owners that are having the very same problem.
