How long does name reservation during account creation last?

To make a long story short, account creation was bugged this morning, and it would fail between step 1 and step 2, however it still reserved the name, problary to make sure nobody tries to get the same name while the user is filling out step 2. However with the failing signups now the name I want is showing as already in use, even though I know it's not. It's been about 3 hrs now, and I was wondering how long it will take for the name to clear, or is it gone for good?

It lasts indefinitely, Sera--a name, once registered, won't clear if you wait. What you could do is... if you can email me (torley@lindenlab.com) the name, I can send out a reminder notice which goes to the email the account was signed up with. Failing that, you can contact Support for help completing registration. Best of hope!
