Will Linden Labs Allow These Racists Threads to Continue?

LL, you need to be more instrumental in these forums to protect your business from looking like a harvesting ground for racism. I have seen many posts where racial slurs, comments, attacks, and otherwise offensive speech is ignored and not dealt with in a more professional manner.

The only post I have seen closed this week is one where a LL employee was called out for having an ALT account by the "Auction Exploit" alleged perpetrator.

Why is it that you allow these posts to remain on YOUR forums. These words cannot be too welcoming for persons of the race that has been targted! Are these individuals who are African-American not welcome in YOUR forums? I sure wouldn't feel too welcome if I read any of this.

I would advise you to take more care in ensuring that residents of ALL races feel like they have a place to discuss and be heard without having to hear racially motivated comments and threads that start racial arguments by offering to "trap" black people.

Perhaps you might feel that I am overreacting as some might put it, but I find it offensive and extremely out of line.

We have an extremely diverse community of Residents.

There were actually a number other threads closed recently. Please have a look in days previous.

Also--intolerance is certainly not allowed in Second Life, as it says in the Community Standards. If there's a specific post which is a violation of them, please use the icon to report it to us with the details why.

I had a look in the thread and will take appropriate action; there's also some good discussion happening in there, which I hope is focused on.
