Detaching an unsaved attachment?

This is kinda weird. Basically I dragged two attachments to the ground and linked them together, I then wore the item directly (without first placing it in my inventory).
I then switched to another avatar by dragging a folder onto myself, however, I've now lost the attachment I'd made, I can't find it anywhere =(

Is it lost or has it been placed somewhere silly? Because it's not coming up under either of the names I would have expected it to be saved as..

I'm thinking maybe this could be a bug to do with dragging a folder of clothes/attachments onto yourself when you have something you've not got in your inventory being worn as an attachment?

As soon as you attach an item in world, an entry is entered in your inventory. It is probably in the Objects folder. If you have 'sort by date' enabled, it should be near the top. You can also try using the search for both original attachment names, unless there was any other linking or unlinking involved in which case the new object could be named anything, including 'object'.

Dragging a folder of clothing onto your avatar will detach all attachments. If the item is still being worn however you can also do a search for worn in your inventory to get a list of all items you are wearing.
