Why do you guys point secondlife.com to secondlife.com/status every time you do an update? I find it very annoying as you can't get to the forums unless you know enough to type forums.secondlife.com or blog.secondlife.com which im sure some people don't know. I don't understand why you need to close the whole website when your not updating the website, your updating Secondlife.
Wouldn't it be better if you just put a message on the front page stating the grid is offline for an update but still allowing access to the rest of the website? Im pretty sure you have done it in the past.
