3rd Party Forum Outreach from LL

With many of the unfocused discussion forums here being shut down, is there any plan to comission a Linden or two to cruise the various 3rd party forums? While policing a half million resident forum base may be impossible, passively reading and compiling issues and concerns that might appear on these other forums but not be brought directly to LL through it's new feedback mechanisms should be quite feasible. Many of them, like mine, even provider categorical RSS and Atom feeds to make it even easier for the lucky Linden.

Kristian--HEY THAT'S A WHERE THE WILD THINGS FORUM AVATAR! (One of my fave books.)

I'm personally going to be seeking out issues specifically about (1) the eclectic, lateral, angular stuff in SL (for a good idea of "what the heck" I mean by that, my personal blog covers a lot) and (2) the Resident experience.

I read and comment on blogs, it's a great way to be one-on-one. Time doesn't always allow for it, but it doesn't stop my enjoyment.

And there'll be numerous Lindens reading Resident-run blogs and forums. I know Pathfinder is very eager to pick up on anything that can leverage us as a platform in the way of educational and "serious" uses, and that's just one example.

There are a lot of common themes that come up over and over again, so it isn't that hard. Some of the best stuff comes to me privately in email, from the meek and shy. This is what I've gathered from experience.

Also, some people have an uncanny ability to distill and aggregate info. Dare I say, savants? I've mentioned this before but I get such tips from them in my email, roundups of what's out there. I'm very grateful for it.

RSS and Atom feeds are most welcome to parse!
