Multiple landmarks on same parcel?

One of my parcels has two separate places, one built on top of the other. It is all on one parcel, because of the potential shared nature of the two builds. Whilst I am able to add both as separate 'picks' on my profile, I don't seem to be able to add them individually to appear in 'find' or as classifieds.

With the sad demise of the forums, where I have been using my signature to additionally advertise, I will no longer be able to advertise everything on my plot of land. Investing a considerable amount of money per month in having such a large plot of land is something I should be rewarded for, not penalised by using a good design to keep my plot uncluttered.

Is there a way round it, or do you plan to allow this at all in a future patch?

Combining traffic

It is generally accepted that the larger the parcel, the more traffic you have (hence why the popular places list is full of big plots rather than necessarily quality builds or entertainment).

Out of the necessity of the design of my 7900 sq m - requiring 5 separate audio streams altogether - I have had to split the parcel up in order to keep the audio streams where I require them and not end up with a disco stream playing in the Church, or classical music in the Laserquest arena.

As a result, the traffic on each parcel is relatively low and not representative of the amount of visitors, whereas when combined into one big plot the overall traffic would be pleasureable to me as an indication of the work and effort I have put into developing something unique in Second Life.

It appears that a simple design decision that I have had to make - out of necessity for my vision within Second Life - is misrepresenting the amount of visitors to my property. Are there any plans to correct this oversight, so that a combined traffic figure applicable to all your parcels may be displayed?

Hi Lewis--

You *can* create multiple landmarks on a single parcel, but they *won't* show up as multiple results in Search. This is in part by design, because it could be abused (spamming Search with many listings). What's recommended is that you subdivide a larger parcel, which of course leads to your second post:

There are no current plans to combine traffic either. I can definitely see how useful it'd be for instances like yours if you wanted to show a bigger number, and how I know it's frustrating. Sorry!

One thing I've long hoped for are smoother musical transitions between parcels, like crossfades instead of sudden switching, but a more elegant solution to having different music for different places on a single parcel doesn't exist... yet.
