QuickTime isn't installed? But it is!

Been through hell for the past hour trying to get streaming movies to work in SL. They worked fine yesterday, but I seem to have lost the movie control and a banner appears saying that Quicktime isn't installed, but it is. I've reinstalled Quicktime and SL via Live Help's advice (multiple times actually) and no luck.

I've also tried disabling and reenabling the movie streams, and nothing happens. Have I lost movies forever?

Note: I have a sneaking suspicion it might be something to do with nVidia Forceware that I installed earlier and has boosted performance significantly in a lot of games. But the movie control's gone. Hmm.

EDIT: Problem fixed. Anyone who has this problem is best off installing an earlier QuickTime. http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/quicktime652forwindows.html worked for me. Thanks to Live Help for everything!

Glad you got it working--I haven't had problems with QuickTime 7 myself but if there's a specific bug here, we should look into it further. Any solid reproductions can be sent via Help menu > Report Bug inworld.

w00t Live Help. ^_^
