Is that against the ToS? I mean, he isn't promoting hate or fascism, he just likes the look of the uniforms. Truthfully, I do too, I'm just afraid of getting banned from SecondLife if I were to get one!

My friend, who shall remain un-named, has an avatar that resembles a Nazi uniform. In his profile he states that he is not a Nazi, nor does he support it. He just likes the style. There are no swastikas, there are instead a paw logo in its place. The uniforms are really snazzy, but he keeps complaining that he's getting reported for wearing it around...

Oh, in all fairness, I couldn't call him a "Nazifur" if it really wasn't a Nazi uniform with the corresponding ideology. There are many military uniforms available inworld, but that in itself is no grounds for being reported.
False abuse reports happen. Perhaps it'd help if he at least tried to carry on a dialog with those who are reporting him, especially if they're telling him that out loud. Education over ignorance. So more accurately: a fur in a uniform! When possible, our Abuse Team ascertains context. Our stance is: if it doesn't violate the Community Standards and isn't detrimental to the community at large, then hey, it's likely allowed in SL. ![]() _____________________
