Regarding Sim FPS

I know that shortly after the changes were made to keep sim FPS at 45, it actually was, nearly all the time. I know, cause I checked it often, trying to figure out if something was me (which it usually was). It was that way for the longest time.

Lately, especially in the past couple of weeks, the sim FPS has been going down the tubes. Rosieri has gotten so bad that last night it was bouncing all over the place, constantly, even down to 0 and 1.

I asked about it on the Live Help line, and Data Linden investigated and restarted the region.

After that, it was better, but still frequently dipping down into 32 and whatnot.

Other places, such as where I live on a private island, aren't as bad, but also aren't at the steady 45 sim fps that I had grown accustomed to.

What is the problem? Can this be resolved? If so, when do you think it might be fixed?

It's very difficult to build with sim FPS being so erratic and so low.

Hi coco, as you know I touched on this on the Official Linden Blog:

We're investigating this, all of this, further.
