I think you totally misunderstood calandris, there is no exploit here, this is a bug that causes people who make stuff job infuriatingly hard, and does not involve an exploit of any kind. Let me clarify the situation. First how it used to work; you would open select texture on your prim. It would then locate the texture you used, if there is one present on the prim, in you nventory, very convinient. Also if there was not texture present it would open only the texture folder in your inventory ready for you to search also intuative and a nice feature that I enjoyed. What it has degraded to now is this; (like previous poster said) is A; all folders will be open in inventory (very inconvenient) usually with a random texture picked from the inventory (one that you own), sometimes even applied automatically to the prim. Or B; all folders closed (very inconvenient) and nothing picked. Ok that covers the tool behaviors. Now the 3rd problem that is a big pain. is that if you click on a texture that you own with the tool it does not find it in inventory. In my several businesses I make things from prims, and also do custom builds under contract. I have 1000s of textures. How would you like it if suddenly the tool you were using no longer found your texture or opened any folders when you own that many? This change truly is infuriating and involves no exploits, this concerns textures that we own.

You are right. I misread it, and have forwarded it on to someone who may know. Answering hotline posts too early in the morning I guess.
