Since early evenning on Monday (PST) a number of people have been having some interesting issues down in Sanchon, Jinsil and surrounding regions. The problems were worst on Monday night, but were still reoccuring throughout Tuesday.

1. Chat is often laggy, sometimes delivering messages out of order.

2. Load and Save times on scripts while editting can sometimes be in the order of 1 to 1.5 MINUTES in length.

3. During build, moving objects around by right click - edit, then dragging on the arrows is can sometimes be jerky often jumping in .5m or 1m increments.

4. In Sanchon, SW corner we've got a bag that's floating on the edge of the grid from a failled TP Monday night, and I've heard of reports of TPs not coming in on target -- shifted 10m in a random direction, like into the wall of the pub -- but have not witnessed this problem.

Sanchon and Jinsil are nearly empty regions, that as far as debug and stats menu (Cntrl-Shift-1) are concerned, they're in perfect health. Physics FPS is good, ping times are good, script processing time is usually under 2ms (except during sailboat races and pirate naval battles, but that's to be expected.)

1-3 I've had confirmation from at least 2 other people, none of which have had any such problems in these regions prior to Monday night.

Are these problems still occuring Grid wide, like on Monday night, or is this an isolated problem with these (and surrounding) regions?

Thanks

Static, indeed, about during the time you describe... there were transient gridwide problems with the asset server. I saw failed TPs, delayed saving of scripts--or it not working at all--as well as several more things related to what you wrote about. It should have passed now. Sorry about the problems. When this type of thing happens, we are on it ASAP.

Next time this occurs, in the heat of the action, feel free use HELP menu ---> LIVE HELP and ask if there's anything going on. On Monday when something like this happened as well, there was an announcement message sent out inworld.

Glad you checked this out in such detail--those are great descriptions! :)
