Thanks for your reply. I thought the blog posts were clear, and I applaud LL's enlightened response to this matter.

I wonder if more clarification would help though, considering the blog post has 900 messages, maybe a message from Philip himself basically reiterating the intractable technical problems involved in this sort of copy protection... and a reiteration that libsl are not criminals developing exploits... and that no action will be taken against them, period.

Maybe post some of the good things that might be done with bots in the future? People seem to have the misconception that bots are inherently laggy though... I don't know.

Much emotion on the subject. It's understandable. I just hope people can work to remain constructive. I don't think the concept of Bots bother folks that much...they seemed to like Pony Linden
