Asset Server on the Fritz?

I think someone needs to poke the asset server with a stick or something, I've noticed in the past couple days that some things take several minutes to load after I enter a sim. The first time I was wearing a ball with eyes for a head for a minute it was a novel event and my friends got a kick out of it too, but it happens with each teleport or each time I log in, so the novelty has worn off. -.-;
