XOR Status or plan...

In the last post from Phoenix Linden I get the impression that XOR will stay the same as it is and will not be fixed to match the same output before March 29th update. I have a publication system that user creates their own books to distribute or sell. This has effectively broken over a thousand books in world. I need some answers so I can tell my customers:

1) Will XOR will be reverted back to the way it was before the March 29th update?

2) If it will be reverted back what is the time frame? (Remember the publications that are made since the semi-fix will probally be broken, sooner the better.)
