Text editor causes client to freeze while editing text. Known issue?

Sorry to post here as well as filing a bug report, but this is a fairly big problem and a lot of us are hoping for a speedy fix. Notecards and scripts become difficult to edit as they grow in size. Eventually, every time you delete or insert text, it freezes the client for several seconds at a time. Didn't see it listed in Known Issues.

This also effects the ctrl+H history - once it gets long enough, it causes the same freezing behavior every time a line of text shows up.

I haven't heard of this yet--it's in my queue now to check out with QA. I will update this post with what I find, when I find it.

[UPDATE] I was personally able to reproduce this too after testing with four chapters of War and Peace. Bug entered. It will show up in Known Issues if it's determined it needs a "massage" from QA; otherwise it may be fixed sooner than that and never have to show up there at all.
