Follow-up

Going back through the various announcements about the grid, I've noticed that while sometimes further info is given, there is rarely any follow-up. For those of us eager to get back online, status reports can help ease the feeling of "omgwhenisitcomingback?" Even if you don't have an estimate of when it's going to come back up, keeping us posted on what's going on is always a plus. If nothing else, at least append the original notice to announce when everything is back to normal. It's a lot better than trying to log in and failing a bunch of times. Much quicker way to find out, you know?

I know you're getting a lot of mad questions right now. I figured maybe the whole follow-up thing, if it were done more often, would slow them down if something like this happens again in the future.

And to go off-topic and ask, is there a place that I'm missing where you post exactly what went wrong and why, so we can see? I heard mention of griefing taking the grid down, I heard mention of crime reports, but I don't know where to go look at said reports. Basically, I'm nosy. lol

Ah, Lyrak, I'm very fond of followups. Otherwise, it's like reading a book to the middle and having the rest lopped out, and going "AND THEN WHAT HAPPENED???" So I totally get this.
