Hmm, I got an unknown transaction, or rather two a couple days ago (Friday near midnight). It subtracted L$1123 from me, then later gave me back L$723.
Now, the only scripted object currently able to take money from me without receiving a payment first is an auto rent-payer, which coincidentally runs on a Friday (or it should, reason I was checking was to be sure).
Anyway, the code for it has the simple line: llGiveMoney(payTo, 400);
So there's no explaination why it should take L$1123 then give back the difference from what it SHOULD have paid (only L$400). It looks to me like it may have been a bug or something.
But anyway, the question really is: a) Was it a bug with the system which it correct? b) Why can't "Unknown Transaction" be replaced by the object name, or have details placed in sales/gifts or something? As this would greatly clarify what is happening with my money!
Thanks!

Haravikk, for the time being, I'd look at the website transactions history, as it does provide more info: https://secondlife.com/account/transactions.phpFrom: Haravikk Mistral b) Why can't "Unknown Transaction" be replaced by the object name, or have details placed in sales/gifts or something? Ah! Great Minds Think Alike, shall I say? It can. This is a soretooth problem which has been corrected in Second Life 1.9.1. I'm actually in the process of informing those who asked about it--including yourself! In 1.9.1, Unknown Transactions are fixed. James Linden jumped on this one-- bang! AT LAST. There's also a button which links to the website details for easy access.
