Invisible avatars: fix soon?

Often times when you TP somewhere, you end up invisible to other peeps, or other avatars are invisible to you, except for attachments (ie hair, jewerly). You can't even see their name. Torley gave a tip to change your group to a different group and back again as a temporary solution, which does indeed work, but that's quite a pain to do every time you TP. I'm so paranoid now of walking into invisible people. Will LL address in patch soon?

That invisible bug has been around for a year now. I don't think it's going to be fixed any time soon.
