Why can't you folks be consistent in giving an in-game warning when you know the log-in server will be going down?????????

I'm tired of leaving the game to relog and then find I'm locked out of the game.

hear hear...

I've been saying that for ages. they seem about to say in-game not to message them becaus e they are getting flooded with messages. I know you have to take servers down because of attacks, updates, take it out to tea or just to reboot the thing and i'm not trying to moan. But please PLEASE, think of the peps ingame. the ones who have no idea that the grid is having problems as there bit of space is fine, who log out because of packet loss or something and have to sit around for 30 mins before they can get back to work.

I'm just moaning because i was working on a script at the time.

Hi David - I'm not sure why there was no warning last night, but we'll review the process we're following and make sure that whenever possible, a warning is given before taking the grid down.

It appears there *were* warnings last night, but you must have missed them. Keep an eye on the notices that come to the upper right hand corner of your screen. Most will be from groups or system notices (friends, inventory, etc.) but occasionally you may see one that warns you of a potential problem.
