Mario,

Regarding your second post, I would like to point out to you that it is not possible for residents to reply to posts in this particular forum. You chose to post your question in a forum where only Linden Labs staff can reply, and, since they had some issues with a complete grid outage in the latter half of yesterday (and are currently still in bed) that would explain why you have not yet received an answer.

In reply to your first post, yes, Second Life can indeed be played on a Mac, it is not limited to PCs, and in order to enter the world, you will need to download and install a client - you can find it at http://secondlife.com/downloads - once you install and run that, you will be able to log into the world itself, where the system will walk you through creating an avatar, and through basic interactions. As you complete the area called "Orientation Island", please make sure that you move on to "Help Island", rather than going directly to the mainland, where you will find members of the Mentor team who will be glad to assist you.

I am sad that your initial experiences of Second Life have been so negative, but I can assure you that it is NOT due to the disinterest of the entire population.

Bitzer

Edit:

Torley, please feel free to merge this with Mario's posts to keep the place tidier. I would have emailled him (her?) but that option is disabled too :(

Thanks Bitzer! It's people like you, who are so willing to help out, that make Second Life such a great place to be. :D
