Anshe Chung and Diddster brag about how their land is served on lag-free (relative to SL mainland) servers... so my question:

Can one run SL on one's own servers? How, if so?

I'm afraid there's currently no way to host a sim using your own server...althought that WOULD be pretty cool.

As far as claims made by businesses in SL, we recommend that Caveat Emptor be your guiding principle :)
