In my case, I was not able to remove members from my group, and when the land sale went through last night, my proceeds were equal to if the proceeds were evenly divided between everyone, officers and members. This is extremely frustrating; any suggestions to get this repaired?

Unfortunately there isn't a way to reverse that. Not that it'll help your current situation, but for the future, Second Life 1.12 with the new Groups tools will allow you to control WHO gets L$ from deeded land sales. So you can restrict it to any Roles (which are far more flexible and powerful than just having officers and members).
