Arf!
The "Join Now" button, quick info about SL, teen grid and so on the mainpage of secondlife.com. We who alredy are residents know about this.
So how about change that to visible links to the preview, feature voting, forum and other places on the site you may want to emphasize for us already logged in? ^^
The not-as-visible-as-a-normal-link dropdown menu already only show if you're logged in so the code is there for implimention.

It's true some things can never be obvious enough, or easy to find, for that matter. The front page is meant as a portal, and I can easily imagine how useful it'd be to customize it with links like you suggest. To note, though, when you log into your account, there are already pages like this with links on the left sidebar: https://secondlife.com/account/ There are a *lot* of links, though, and dependent on which heading of the website you're on (SHOWCASE, COMMUNITY, etc.) so to reiterate, what I'd really like to see is a personal dashboard tailored to a Resident's tastes. Perhaps bridged inworld somehow. _____________________
