Issues of Wonkiness

I was building my house on a friend's property, and when the project began to grow rather large, I packed it up and decided to move it to a sandbox. When I got there, I found that the meat and potatoes of the project was gone from my inventory. I checked my trash, lost and found, various folders....nothing. After shaking my fist to the heavens and crying just a tad, I headed back to my friend' property.

I then discovered that one of my items was for some reason not equipped on myself, so I went to equip it, only to receive an error message that it could not create the requested object. Huh? "The sim must be buggy right now," said friends of mine. So I headed to another sim, on a completely different portion of the grid, and equipped said item. But then I realized yet another item was not equipped, so I tried to equip it too. Same error message. So it's not just the one sim...

I'm afraid of building anything for fear I'll lose my stuff, and I'm afraid to equip anything because I just don't know what will happen. What's going on?

I noticed some of this happening live too, Jaide--specifically with postcards which were giving me asset failure issues when I tried to email them to Snapzilla. (Chronologically, in the timeline.)

I'm sorry to hear about your lost creations.

Don't give up hope yet, there are things you can do yet. The first, very basic step, is to go to EDIT menu ---> PREFERENCES ---> NETWORK and push CLEAR CACHE and relog. What happens is your local inventory cache will resync with the one on the server. Sometimes, things that don't appear aren't actually lost, and will appear again.

If that doesn't work, then please, from HELP menu ---> REPORT BUG, send all the details you know about your project. If you had unique object names, specifics of what it looked like, anything like that which might help it be retrieved.

Those problems happening earlier today not be happening now, tho.
