Current timeframe for new island delivery?

Is there an estimated time frame that those who purchase islands from 11/1 can expect delivery? I noticed only 17 total islands were added so far this month per the Economic stats page-- and that seems very slow (Compare that figure with an average of 12 per DAY added in Oct & that includes weekends.)

Is there some sort of holdup that residents should know about? Are we waiting on new servers to be delivered? If we don't have a specific date for island delivery, can we do better than the 'before 12/15' answer, please?

Because of the large number of orders we are letting people know that it will be no later than Dec 15th...I'm sorry that's not very specific. You can very likely expect to receive your sim much earlier than that.
