I have been a long time supporter of LL. Defended you guys through alot of stuff. Been patient all day. But Now I admit I am pissed.

My partner and I were waiting for our private island to be restarted for the second rolling update(it has failed to restart before). At roughly 4AM our time (2AM SLT) it had not happened yet. Instead we get a blue box telling us grid is going down and before I even finish reading the box boom tossed out like last weeks garbage. We did not even have time to say goodnight (we happen to be in different geographical locations at the moment). Would 1 minute warning have hurt anyone?

I gotta call a spade a spade here. That was bloody rude!

Darkness, I'm sorry we were not able to provide enough information in advance, during the course of the update, we discovered that it included a bug which caused objects purchased in-world to be fully permissive.

After we reproduced the bug in-world, we kicked everyone off the grid and restricted login to Lindens only (this was at 2am PDT). Next, we identified the bug and created a fix for it, which was deployed and tested while the grid was down.
