Ok now I give LL credit, they made a great game that people play, they made an economy they are trying to stablize, they have alot to do behinds the scenes. But this newest update is a joke, a stupid joke, I am paying 50 dollars a month right now, alot of people are paying alot more, and why the hell is something as small as F1 being put BEFORE things like game crashes, server login problems, and bad hardware detection.
Right now my friend in the UK can't even get on, everytime she tries, she gets the Despite our best efforts... I get it too time to time now, and I thought hey its a new update, it happens, but then I look at the release notes of the new update, WTF!
Right now my graphic card isn't being detected correctly I can't get options such as cloth and bump mapped clothing which I had BEFORE the update. Avatar Vertex Program is gone now as well. Why isn't it on that list? (Geforce 4 ti 4200 up to date drivers)
I don't mean to be rude or aggressive with LL I know it happens, but someone please get it together over there. I'm tired of paying so much money for a game your company refuses to fix, refuses to regulate, and basically tells half the community its not your problem.
Quite honestly, if some of these issues aren't fixed by the time my monthly payment is due, I'm releasing my land and leaving.

Hi John! First off, very sorry to hear of your frustrations. Second, some things which may not seem all that important to you have been clamored for in the community greatly. If you've been watching SL Answers, you know questions commonly arise about "WHY DOESN'T SECOND LIFE HAVE BETTER DOCUMENTATION?!?" Well, that's the whole F1 thing, really. And it also connects to having the Mozilla rendering engine inworld, aka "web-on-a-prim", which has been asked for... for so long. So, if nothing else, it was in the making. If your friend and you have login difficulties, we'd sure like to help. I did get that "Despite our best efforts..." in the last few days. Looks like we had some problems with the login server not functioning smoothly. That should be better now. Also, I have a Ti4200 myself. It, being over six years old, doesn't support OpenGL 2.0, which, in short, is required for some of the new eye candy. You may have noticed that you can't do Ripple Water on it. Similar case with other vertex shaders. You can look at our System Recommendations which does state what will work. There's going to be more updates to SL to come. If you ever find a specific bug, we'd certainly like to get it fixed. Inworld, HELP menu > REPORT BUG and fill in the step-by-step details. Think of it like asking a friend to follow through, and experience the same problem the way you see it. Also, you can post in Technical Issues to discuss with other Residents and Lindens, and you can always contact Support. Best of hope with this and I hope your experience gets better soon.
