Couple things that should be heard. One before 1.9.0(1  rollout. 1) Could we have a way to disable the hotkey to TP home; or at least remap it. I fear I'm going to find my self going home when i want the chat history open (hotkey to open chat history is CTRL+H; 1.9.0(1 proposed hotkey for TP home is CTRL+SHIFT+H). Or maybe a pop-up asking if you want to tp home (with a checkbox to banish the pop-up). 2) The support wiki is increadibly borked. For example, page history only has the most basic functionality; higher level functionality (like displaying what was changed) is 100% broken ( example, click any of the links in the table other then "current"  . Someone could delete the content on a page and there would be no way to roll back the change. This is a disaster waiting to happen. 3) Forum search hasn't worked in over 48 hours; how can i tell people to use the forum search before posting if it doesn't work? 4) Could Vasudha or applicable Linden post the current money supply (doesn't need to be exact, rounded off to millions is just fine).

Strife! Four questions, that's a lucky number to me. 1) If it's found in actual practice that Ctrl-Shift-H to go home proves problematic, then it may be likely--like what happened with the useability of un-persistent Property Lines across sessions. This remains to be seen, but if I start hearing lots of aggravation about this during actual use, I'll definitely communicate it onwards. 2) For the longer term we are hoping to move towards a better system for the support wiki. I know this isn't the only problem with it, and I will check to ask about backups. 3) I use the advanced search page and have found it to work for me, albeit be slow at times and certain common keywords will result in blank pages like searching for "money" or "Linden" or "land". Please lemme know more details so I can see what you are seeing. 4) I'll ask Vasudha if this can be done.  I checked with Vasudha... the total money supply in non-Linden accounts for Feb. 2006 was approx L$523.9 million.  |
