Shorty after the new version was installed I can no longer see grass on the mainland sims. All I see is bare rock no matter how long I wait. I have reinstalled SL and deleted my cache many times but it didn't help. I have also filed a bug report and double checked all of my preferences.
I see this has been discuseed in the technical forum and it looks like others are seeing the same thing. Is LL aware of this problem? Thanks.

Tim! (I like your last name too, hehe.) Yes, we are aware. This is a KNOWN bug and should be fixed soon. What happens is that on some graphics cards, only the highest elevation texture will show. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for going through things so finely--your bug report helps!
