I'm a little confused by what I read in Philip's blog today, namely about the Premium account stipends. I'm currently a basic user. If I upgrade to Premium now, I get L$500 a week. If I wait until after the 24th (say I'm holding out for payday), do I get L$400 a week or L$500 a week?
Basically what I'm asking is, if an account created before July 24th upgrades after that date, will they be subject to the higher stipend, or recieve the lower one?

Hi Vannevar--you'll get the higher L$500 weekly stipend if you upgrade to Premium on or before July 21 (not 24). We wanted to give advance notice, so if you're interested, feel free to go for it.
 The exact text: Stipend Changes New Premium accounts that are registered on or after Friday July 21, 2006, will have a weekly stipend of L$400, down from L$500.
