ive been here a long time and even the webpage says:
10. What is the Prim Allowance for Private Island?
The prim allowance for a private island is the same as any other region, 15,000.
so we go and buy 1/2 a sim and find out its a VOID sim??? only 890 prims!
what kind of ripoff is this?
why are ppl allowed to sell void sims as Land for homes?
void sims are void!

Hi Lightwave,
Sorry this seems to have caused some frustration for you - we do not prevent people from selling Openspace/void regions for people to live in if that is what they want to do, but we do not advise it either - they are intended for light use only (hence the much lower prim allowance). It really comes down to the owner and how they want to manage their land - and the buyer who needs to be aware of what they are buying.
That said, we are looking into adding clearer indication in the viewer as to what sort of land is being purchased, which will hopefully help people to make the right decisions.
