Oh my my my, got another answer to a reply i did to support with the suggestion to clear my cache...... *SIGH*... do people ever read?

I have lost numeral items from my inventory, they just disappeared a couple of days ago.
I'm not sure about the total number, but i am guessing it is close to a thousand items.
The behaviour of missing items i have seen before, and clearing the cache did fixed this problem after some minutes in the game. However after a few days still missing the items, there is something else.
What i have tried:
- Clearing the cache (through the game interface or manual) and restarting.
- Reinstalling SL.
- Restarting Network connections.
- Adjusting network connections.
Nothing helps.
I am professional developer with 15+ years experience, so don't think about accidental delete's; I believe i can say i am too long in this business to make mistakes like that.
I Contacted the in-game help, where i was helped by very friendly people. Although they could not solve the problem either.
I already filed a bug-report (twice) and a support form, but I'm only human and lost a lot of L$ through this, so i'd like to see at least a response.
I know the terms of service state you have tough luck for loosing items, but that will not do. I really like to see this solved, mainly because i lost the trust in SL, while i was starting to develop new things. Furthermore it will not be in the best interest for Linden if these things happen regularly.
So I'm stuck for the moment, trying to decide whether i will continue with my work and have the chance to loose more items or cancel the whole thing. But that depends solely on how much confidence you can restore by explaining why and what happened exactly.
