I'm getting a little worried with the recent hacking thats been going on and have a idea that might help keep accounts safe and i'm wondering if this already exists. IP or Hardware Hash Encryption that prevents an account from being accessed anywhere but a specific computer or IP, and can have that turned off by simply having a form sent to your email with a link to deactivate it. Is this even possible for SL? I know livejournal has it. I don't wana make a lot of work for you all hehe.
Since i'm a security admin of 2-3 sims and have became quite the enemy of many griefing groups, i feel my account could be compremised in the future so id like to see if this can be issued before it happens. If they had access to the database they sure had time to grab my password (even though i have changed it). So to keep this as a question, Has any thought been put into this type of thing? Can we look foreward to extra methods to ensure we can't be hacked?
