We need some clarity about the TOS...

Given: Some random resident has a scripted object that uses a sensor to detect agents and then deliver to that agent... well, anything. Namely a notecard with advertising.

Also given that this is script does not limit itself to said random resident's own land, and neighbors and visitors to said neighbors are daily, occasionally more often, handed this notecard.

Does this, as it would seem to, violate the TOS?

If not, why the heck not?

If so, why is it allowed to happen so often on the mainland, with an odd sort of sometimes-it-is sometimes-it-is-not thing from the liasons?

Ah, Jillian--we'd have to look at the specific circumstances; I've seen many a variant over this, and some weren't intentional (as much as they may have seemed to be).

Generally speaking, that'd be spam, and thus, against the ToS. Or, easier described, Disturbing the Peace in the Community Standards.

So no, not allowed. But again--case-by-case basis to make sure this is what's happening!
