Can llHTTPRequest make POSTs to sl.com?

Has Linden Labs specified prevented using llHTTPRequest() to make POSTs to http://xmlrpc.secondlife.com/cgi-bin/xmlrpc.cgi ?

I'm getting back the following error right now (html stripped):

The following error was encountered:

Access Denied.

Access control configuration prevents your request from
being allowed at this time.
=======================================

llHTTPRequest can not at this time make any requests to any secondlife.com or lindenlab.com servers. This is intentional, sorry.
