I know that, on private islands, land owners have useful tools like biggest lagging scripts and suchlike.
Are these useful tools ever going to be implemented for us mainlanders to check out our own land?
I ask, because performance in Rosieri has been nothing short of dismal lately, and short of disabiling all the scripts I have running on my property, there appears to be no way to be sure that my (lack of) scripting ability isn't contributing to the issue in some way.
As the tools are already there, I'm assuming that it would merely be a case of enabling them for us regular users. It would make a great difference to enabling us to easily keep our own builds in check so as to not affect those around us, because believe it or not some of us still care.

The answer is, yes, long-term, we hope to provide more tools for parcel-level control (which applies to the mainland), including to address performance issues you mention. We're aware there's a confusing dichotomy between parcel-level and estate-level controls. Some present in one that aren't in the other, e.g., how estates didn't get restriction by payment status until later, and how requests continue to come in to up the estate-level ban # limit like how it's already done on parcels. And at the same time, seeing top scripts on a parcel would be very useful. This isn't a planned near-future project, but as more news arrives to when it's forthcoming, count on it to be posted on the Official Linden Blog--likely as part of a broader view concerning the future of the mainland.
