Safeguards against 'land swooping'?

This is really just a suggestion: not something that I've had to deal with but, I've seen a lot of folks have this problem.

Was watching the Mentor channel and, once again, someone recently had their land taken from them for nothing, due to what amounts to UI confusion.

Is there any way that LL could simply institute a "Lock from sale" checkbox, that would be on the About Land tab (probably on a SEPARATE tab from 'general', perhaps on 'options') - in ADDITION to the "Sell for L$" checkbox that is already there?

-- so that BOTH boxes would have to be attended to, to make sure that land isn't accidentally set for sale?

Perhaps a dialogue, too.

I just really think this could be prevented with some *very simple* UI safeguards, that dont seem to be very complex to add at all.

I may be wrong. But it sure would save some folks some headaches.

Michi, thank you--we do have something in the works to help with more informed selling of land. It occurs that a simple tweak would make a world of difference.

It hasn't been finalized and we're still discussing implementation. I'll add your suggestion.
