woudl you guys really loose that much money with limited free alts per fre acount?

I have this idea fro an alternative for population irregularity as well helping people do what they wanna do without having to lie
basicly it would be having sotmhing like 10 free alts per acount (free or otherwise)
the person would log in usign their "main acount" and would be abel to choose which alt they want to login as (as well perhaps switching after loged), this woudl allow people to legally have alts (so people can have their purse holding alts, their busyness alts, their anonymous alts, their persoanl alts etc...) for everyone but the inside of the system (and perhaps for Lindens if necessary) all te alts would appear as separated, unrelated acounts to keep people's privacy

my question is, would this really affect your income enough to justify charging for every legal alt?

ps: 10 was just an arbitrary number, just to be safe to have enough alts for peopel that needs it, I myself would probaly not even use 5...

It's not really revenue that drives the policy about alt accounts. It's a belief that each account should be tied to a unique, true identity.
